The past few weeks have been a little busier than I anticipated, but mostly in good ways. I did get my first act finished up by that first week of July as I had hoped to, made a little progress in my second act, got to have a lot of good family time, and I even got a little Christmas shopping underway.

I feel good about the first half of the month, which is nice because this past week I caught a nasty summer cold and felt gross and not much like doing anything. It might be really hot outside, but my sinuses have never been more grateful for hot tea. I am past the worst of it though (I think), and am hoping to be able to switch back to ice coffee and get my momentum going again this week.
