The past two weeks have seen me cross the finish line with the rework of my story’s second act, which is exciting! I’d like to say I could get the whole thing done by the end of this month, but I think the third act is going to require a little more detail work along with some brand new scenes, so I’m going give myself the more realistic benchmark of trying to hit it by mid-September.

Besides writing, I’ve also gotten lots of quality time with my niece, who is becoming an entertaining storyteller in her own right, which I love. I’m also catching up on the new season of Only Murders in the Building on Hulu. If you haven’t checked it out already, do it now, because this may be the best season yet!
