In the past two weeks, I have marked my seven year anniversary of blogging, put a pretty good dent in my Christmas shopping, got a little extra time with my niece, and had some glorious writing days (this past Thursday, that’s all I did—minus the time it took to shower—from morning until bedtime).

I’ve also been catching up on some great shows. Only Murders in the Building season three is currently dropping new episodes every Tuesday on Hulu, The Chosen is airing on the CW every Sunday night (also available for streaming on Amazon Prime and Youtube, or so I’ve been told), and Unstable, starring Rob Lowe, is on Netflix. And of course, I couldn’t resist trying the live-action Little Mermaid once it dropped on Disney+, and I have to say that I liked what they did with it. The performances are solid, and much like the recent live-action Beauty and the Beast, the movie expands on some hazier plot details from the animated version, which was nice.
