What have the past two weeks brought?

Well, I’m feeling ready for Christmas—my shopping is officially done, presents are wrapped, and I even got a few decorations out.

I’ve also had some fantastic writing days this past week. I feel like I’m getting a little better at getting my inner editor out of the way; even though I knew some of what I was writing on one of those days wasn’t likely to make the final cut, it didn’t slow me down or keep me from completing the scenes. It just felt good to really flex those muscles, and to know that I can develop the discipline to write even if its just a matter of clearing the pipes so I can start fresh the next day.

And last but not least, my nephew started smiling and trying to laugh this week and he has the sweetest little toothless grin!
