This is a pretty straightforward and simple recipe with big results. You’ll need:
- 1 package Hidden Valley Ranch Regular Dressing/Dip mix
- 1 package Hidden Valley Fiesta Ranch Dressing/Dip mix
- 1 cup of olive oil
- 1 to 3 teaspoons crushed red pepper, depending on your preferred heat level
- Your pasta of choice (I typically stick to angel hair)
Mix the ranch and fiesta ranch packets with the olive oil and crushed red pepper. If you’re uncertain of how much kick you want this to have, start with just 1 tsp. of the crushed red pepper—you can always add more, but there’s no dialing it back if you add too much. In fact, if you have leftover pasta, it is likely to get a little extra kick after being stored.
Set the sauce aside and cook your desired pasta as needed. A little of this sauce goes a long way, so this recipe should do for a family-sized amount of pasta—I only use about a 4th of this amount to cover a single serving.
Once the pasta is cooked and drained, stir in the sauce until pasta is thoroughly coated, and cover over low heat for two minutes. Stir again and the pasta is ready to serve!
