The last couple of weeks have struck a nice balance between activities and writing, and I’m hoping I can maintain that balance.

Soccer season started up again, and this year my niece seems to be enjoying and somewhat understanding the game more, though she was still distracted by a very large dragonfly at the first match.

We are also gearing up for my nephew’s 2nd birthday party next weekend. He’s been working on his “surprise” face during games of Simon Says lately, so I’m really looking forward to his reaction to his gifts.

As for my writing, I got on a really nice streak with my editing last weekend, completing several scenes, though the past few days I’ve gotten a bit stuck again, as I’m not quite happy with how the conflict is working in the current scene & may have to restructure it.
