Odds & Ends 5/29-6/03

I am officially on vacation!

Well, from the day job, anyway. Now I get to work full time on the writing, at least for a few days. Oh, how I’m looking forward to that!

As such, this week was all about getting things in order and preparing so I can be free from distraction. The apartment is clean and orderly, there’s food in the kitchen, bills are paid, and my notes are organized.

I may also have a couple of books laid out for when I need a break by the pool: Dr. Franklin’s Island, The River of No Return, and Pygmalion. One for research, one for pleasure, and one because it’s just well suited for poolside reading; I’ll let you guess which is which.
