It’s December 1st and I am almost ready for Christmas!

I’ve been gradually getting my decorations out the past week or so, and after a happy Thanksgiving spent with family, I got the job finished. I also managed to get the last of my Christmas shopping taken care of today (though nothing is wrapped yet) and even got my mannequin-tree decorated.

Isn’t it pretty? I had to make sure the tree got up this year because, as you can see at the top of the skirt, I got two new ornaments from my little fur-nephews, and I had to show them off. I was not there to witness it, but I hear getting two puppies to hold their paws still in model magic is not easy.

And now that the Christmas prep is off my to-do list, I can sit back and enjoy it while I try to squeeze some writing in between all the festivities this month!
