I finally began to feel productive again over the past couple of weeks. First and foremost, I’ve gotten some good writing time in as I try to work out this kink in my third act. Sometimes you just have to keep writing through a scene, even when you know what you’re writing isn’t going to make the final cut, just to clear out the pipes so what should be there makes it out.

I also cleared a number of things off my to-do list, managed to catch up on some new shows (check out Eurovision: Fire Saga on Netflix if you need something light and silly) and I even got started prepping my Christmas shopping.

Now, that last bit may sound crazy to some of you, but I can only seem to Christmas shop in one of two ways: start planning in the summer and have everything ordered by December 1st, or let autumn go by in a blur and end up crisscrossing town in a frenzy of last-minute shopping two weeks before Christmas. There is no middle ground.

So, here’s to staying on top of things…we’ll see how long it lasts!
