Odds & Ends 3/22-4/04

Happy Easter everybody!

I got to spend my holiday with my family, competing with my mom over whose turn it was to hold my niece. Loser still got to hold a puppy, so it still wasn’t so bad.

Spring was finally in the air this week, which would have been enough to brighten my days by itself, but I also got some reading time out in the sun, and I was able to start charting out some fresh plot points courtesy of a new series on character archetypes from K.M. Weiland. My work schedule slows down starting this next week, so I’m looking forward to having more time to expand on that, because it’s really helping me look at my story from some different angles. If you haven’t heard me say it before, let me tell you now, Weiland offers some great materials for anyone looking to build their storytelling skills, and you should definitely check out her site, helpingwritersbecomeauthors.com. I can’t recommend it enough.
