This time of year can be especially busy with travel and family gatherings, which is why I’ve missed posting the last two weeks. But I couldn’t let the year end on that note!

Since my last post, I’ve seen a lot of family and met up with old friends, and I’ve got to say, that’s probably one of my favorite things about this time of year. What made it a little different this year, though, was that it was kind of the first year my writing goals have been more widely known outside my immediate circle, so I actually had people asking me about them and where I was in my process, which was cool.

Not that I necessarily answered these questions very gracefully (it still feels a little strange to me to share the details aloud), but it was cool all the same.

Looking ahead to 2018, I’m excited for what’s to come. I have one project to revise & polish right out of the gate, a round of querying to follow, and a few new ideas rolling around my brain that I can’t wait to flesh out.

Anyway, I hope your holidays have been as pleasant as mine, and I wish you all a happy New Year and a productive 2018!
