Odds & Ends 4/09-4/15

I got a little more editing done this week, but we had some exceptionally excellent weather for a few days, so I had to take advantage of that and do some reading in the sunshine while I could (there was actual snow in the air today).

I would say sitting/laying out in the sun is the best weather to read in, but there’s also being all cozy in bed and reading while listening to a gentle rainstorm outside, or curled up under a blanket with a hot beverage while it’s snowing. Reading is one of the few activities that’s pleasant in all seasons.

Besides the happy excuse to sit in the sun, reading for pleasure was also a nice way to recharge my imagination a bit after so much time spent in an analytical mindset while editing. It’s a also a hopeful reminder that even the craziest and most complicated of concepts can eventually be pulled together into a polished final product.
